Lure Cigar’s Redfish delivers a medium-to-full-bodied strength that is matched by its rich flavor profile. Notes include dried fruit, espresso, freshly tanned leather, baking spices, and a touch of white pepper on the retrohale.
Formerly, Nimmer Ahmad, owner of Valacari, has been a friend and mentor to Lou Cross, owner of Lure Cigars. “When I approached Nimmer with the idea of making a cigar to honor my late father, he gladly offered his help. With his patience and support, the brand gained traction over the next year.
Having that support and guidance from Valacari’s experience has been instrumental in Lure’s success. The collaborative projects we’ve done along the way have been some of the most rewarding. Nearing the second year of offering cigars under the Lure Cigars brand. We have leaned more on each other’s core competencies and focused on our strengths.
We felt it was the perfect time to combine some of the best offerings from both companies and create a cigar that showcased the signatures of both brands. The name The Redfish is a nod to the color of the wrapper leaf and a popular sportfish to catch.
